In memory of Alan (Grandad) who was a loving husband, father and grandfather and resided in Clayton, Doncaster in later life, having grown up in Thurnscoe, Doncaster during the 1940s and 1950s.

In 1963, he married Jennifer (nee Thomas) and together they had a wonderful son and daughter, Simon and Claire. Family time meant holidays in Spain and tinkering in the garden and the garage. In later life, grandchildren Jessica, Benjamin, Olivia and Emily arrived, keeping Alan and Jennifer busy until they had grown up and each gone to university and step grandson Charlie, who is still at school.

Macmillan have supported the family amazingly during the last few months and Simon and Claire would like to show their appreciation by hosting this fund page in memory of their father. Please donate what you can and feel free to leave a message or a short memory you have of Grandad. We would love to read them during this time

Thank you
Olivia
