About tribute funds

'In December 2008, I lost my mum. She was looked after by a Macmillan nurse at home during her final weeks, so I saw firsthand the great work Macmillan does. After we lost Mum, I started fundraising to make a difference in whatever way I could. I've raised more than £20,000 so far. My dad always says how proud my mum would be.'

So many Macmillan supporters like Luke, have told us how much fundraising for Macmillan has helped them through their loss. Macmillan has created this site so our supporters have a place to celebrate the life of someone who's special to them, and to keep track of the fantastic difference they're making to other people with cancer and their families.
