I wish that we had been able to continue with our researching the Schram family. As cousins we had got to know each other again in recent years: this was a Good Thing. I shall miss her.

Barbara and I sang together in Harrow Choral Society, sitting together at rehearsals, for many years. She was a good friend as well as a hard-working and valued colleague. I shall miss her a lot.

When we were teenagers, cousin Barbara and I were staunch best friends. We have kept in touch over the ensuing two generations. What more can I say than to say she brought up her family so well, bore her illness with characteristic fortitude and will be much missed.
