Mum was a stalwart of Rishton Cricket Club, she was also much loved by the people who she served drinks to during her working career at VMI and especially in her latter days her good friends at Runshaw College. Mum's dream was if she ever won the lottery was to provide an Electronic Scoreboard for Rishton CC. A group of members have decided to embark on a 70 mile sponsored walk to raise the funds to provide this whilst also raising funds for the tremendous work the Macmillan nurses provide. Mum's prescence at the club touched everybody, men, women and children. I hope that everybody will support us in this venture to provide a lasting memroial to a truly great, unassuming and selfless women.
